All
Users Page
The All Users page is a list of all users who exist in the
system.
- You may add a new user by clicking the "Add New User" button.
- If a user exists, you may edit
or delete the user by
clicking the links beside each user's information.
- If you delete the
user, it will completely remove the user's information from the
user admin database; you cannot get it back, you will need to
manually re-create the user.
Add New User Page
The Add New User form is where you will create new user names
and passwords.
The information you enter in the fields on this page will NOT update
any information in the Paradox database.
Only Exacta staff can create a new user; the customer will not have
the ability to register or create a new user record.
- Select the company name for the user from the drop down menu.
If you are trying
to add a user, but his or her company name is not listed in pull
down menu,
please make sure
that the customer already exists in the Paradox database system,
and contact
exacta@igicom.com
to have the company added to the user admin database.
- Company Name, First Name, Last Name, E-mail, User Name and Passwords
are Required Fields. You cannot save a new user's information
without completing these fields. Title and Phone are optional
fields.
- User name MUST be all letters and is only created by you at
Exacta. The customer does not have the ability to change this.
- Passwords must include letters and at least 1 digit. The user
passwords are automatically generated when you create a new account and are encrypted for security purposes.
- When you create a new user, an automatic e-mail will be sent,
directing them to log in at www.exactaintl.com
and change the password to one of their own choosing.
- Through the Exacta public website www.exactaintl.com,
the user may log in and modify title, phone, e-mail and password
anytime he or she desires. The user CANNOT edit user name, name,
company, report view; instructions direct the user to contact
Exacta if any of those fields are incorrect.
Only Exacta can determine which reports a client sees; the customer
cannot change his or her own views unless they contact the Exacta
office directly.
- You must select at least one Shipment Status view. The first
selected report (from left to right) will be the default view
for your user. For example:
If you pick KPA,
GTC, Perkins - KPA is the default report.
If you pick: GTC,
Perkins - GTC is the default report.
- All customers will be able to see Shipment Advice.
- This is the naming convention for the report view types and
the data columns displayed:
Short Name
(what you will see) |
Long Name
(what the customer will see) |

customer in Shipment Tracker's Shipment Status Page in the View
Type dropdown box if the customer has been given a choice of reports;
OR as text without a dropdown box if you only allow the customer
to see one standard report.
